Taumatawhakatangihangakoauauotamateapokaiwhenuakitanatahu is the Māori name for an otherwise unremarkable hill, 305 metres high, close to Porangahau, south of Waipukurau in southern Hawke's Bay, New Zealand. The name is often shortened to Taumata by the locals for ease of conversation
